At Genie, we take our privacy responsibilities seriously and understand the importance to protect your Personal Data. A.1 We may collect Personal Data about you from a variety of sources, including the following:

C.1 As per the Data Protection Laws, we adhere to strict security measures to protect your Personal Data. Only authorised and fully trained staff can access your Personal Data.
C.2 All information provided to us is stored securely, on password protected computers that only authorised staff have access to.
C.3 All artwork and print ready files created by us are stored securely, on password protected computers that only authorised staff have access to. We store the artwork and print ready files for additional orders and edits that you may wish us to make. Please notify us if you would like us to remove these from our storage, we shall efficiently undertake your request.
C.4 No person outside of the company has access to our network.
C.5 www.geniedesignandprint.co.uk is hosted on a secure server and has the highest level of SSL certification provided by 1&1 and verified by Geo Trust with up to 256-bit SSL encryption. The secure connection is visible on the address bar when visiting www.geniedesignandprint.co.uk.
C.6 Personal Data collected in written or printed format is shredded once no longer required. All shredded material is collected by BPR Group, an authorised and regulated waste management company, all collections are securely destroyed to BS EN 15713. We are presented with certification that officially authorises the secure destruction. Such collections happen on a weekly basis. Vehicles used for the transit of shredded Personal Data from our Business Address to the BSIA accredited recycling facility have built in GPS tracking. The recycling facility, which is patrolled by security staff and monitored by CCTV is in accordance with BS 7499.
C.7 Genie Design and Print Ltd maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of Personal Data.
C.8 Personal Data shall be retained for so long as we reasonably require the processing of it. Your Personal Data will then be deleted.
C.9 Invoices generated containing Personal Data - name, company name (if applicable), billing address, delivery address, email address, telephone number and the products and services ordered are securely stored. Printed copies will be securely stored at our business address for a period of six years as per UK law and HMRC requirements. Digital copies are stored securely, on password protected computers that only authorised staff have access to. These are deleted when no longer required.
D.1 Communications sent over the internet, such as emails, web mails and through social media platforms are not secure unless they have been encrypted. We cannot accept responsibility for an unauthorised access or loss of Personal Data that is beyond our reasonable control.
